Sterling silver horseshoe clip with six bezel-set bright turquoise stones with applied twisted silver wire. An incredible piece of American craftsmanship, this piece was handmade (and signed) by Bill C. Ilfeld,who was a silversmith from a well known mercantile family who settled in New Mexico in the 1800s. We believe Mr. Ilfeld lived in New Mexico from 1860- 1944. We are not sure when this particular piece was made. Measuring 1-3/4 x 1-3/4", this piece goes beautifully with our Ilfeld bracelet, #EA0649. Together this set is museum quality American craftsmanship. A true work of art sure to be appreciated by the horse lover.
